Mary Nepsund - Worship Team Leader

I grew up in Park Rapids, MN on a pig farm. Sorry, the rumors are not true - Mary did not have a little lamb. I did have a garden though that grew every year. Oh, the emories of being contrary towards weeding the garden - but the rewards were eating fresh peas and strawberries off the vines while working in the garden. Okay, enough of the nursery rhyme references.
My husband, Larry, and our daughter, Brianna, own a cabin in Park Rapids and go up every weekend from April to October where we enjoy fishing, waterskiing, jet skiing, and lounging in the sun. Since we both have family members up there, we enjoy spending time with them, especially at the holidays. I've been told by my parents and older siblings (I'm #8 out of 9 kids), that at the age of three I started taking piano lessons. At the age of four I won a talent contest at the local high school. I played for my first wedding at the age of nine - and that opened the door to the 'big time' - playing for church services. One of my favorite memories was at about the age of 12, my Pastor telling me to always remain humble for my talent. I'm not sure why I remember his comment, but I've tried to live by it. To God be the Glory!
