    Chalices

In years past, St. Paul's used silver chalices to serve communion to the congregation.  Since they are no longer being used, St. Paul's is offering the chalices for sale to members.  They could be used as a remembrance of a special occasion such as a baptism or confirmation or in honor of a family member.  The sterling silver chalices are approximately 1 1/2 inches tall and are available for $45 each.  If you are interested in purchasing a chalice, complete the order form available at the Information Center and include your payment.  Your chalice will be available at the Information Center the next Sunday or in the church office during the week.  Proceeds from the sale of the chalices will go to the Organ Fund.

Note:  The 1 per family limit has been removed.  Please indicate quantity desired on the order form.

    Praise Team

Do you have a musical talent such as playing an instrument or singing?  Have you felt God prompting you to use that talent in helping others worship Him corporately?  The St. Paul's Lutheran Church Praise Team is looking for people that feel a calling to assist others in worship through their musical and spiritual gifts.  If you are interested, please contact Mark Christiansen at mark@stpaulspriorlake.org or 612-735-8754.

    Ground Breaking!

A Ground Breaking Ceremony was held November 24th for the new Early Childhood Center!  More information is available on the Capital Campaign page.

    "Noisy Offering"

The Noisy Offering in April will be raising funds for Life in Christ Lutheran Church in Grand Marais.  Life in Christ is a mission congregation located along the North Shore in Grand Marais.  Grand Marais has a unique population with 5,200 residents that exceeds 10,000 when visitors arrive in the summer.  It’s the only LCMS church in Cook County.  Cook county’s US census shows that 53% of the population claims to be unchurched.

Life in Christ is currently meeting in the Cook County Community Center & Curling Club.  They are in need of their own worship center where they can serve both the residents and visitors to the North Shore area.  With their own building, Life in Christ will be firmly established, continue to serve its members, have visibility for growth, and more effectively carry out the Great Commission, calling on all people to believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior for the salvation of their soul.
